Abstract
This Order, made under section 3 of the Plants (Quarantine) Act, provides for: declaring the Citrus Greening Disease (Huanglongbing), as a a notifiable plant pest of quarantine importance to the country; defining the parishes infected by the pest; and prescribing the related measures for its eradication and control. The Order prohibits any person, without specific authorisation, from removing or moving into the county any citrus plant or part of it, including seedling, cutting, products, related materials and articles. The Order specifies actions to be taken in case of suspected presence of the pest within an area, and duties and powers of the Chief Plant Quarantine Officer to control the spread of huanglongbing.
