Rural Agricultural Development Authority Act.

This Act makes provision for the establishment of the Rural Agricultural Authority, defines its functions and powers.
The Authority is established as a body corporate and shall provide an efficient agricultural extension service and carry out other support functions in the field of agriculture, afforestation, apiculture, fish-culture, fishing, development and maintenance of pastures, cultivation of crops and the keeping and breeding of livestock and poultry. The Minister may give directions to the Authority in relation with matters of public interest. The Authority may order improvement works to be carried out on private land and carry out inspections of agricultural land.
