Trade (Plastic Packaging Materials Prohibition) (Amendment) Order, no. 191 of 2024.

This Order, made by the Minister under section 8(1)(a), (b) and (c) of the Trade Act, amends the Trade (Plastic Packaging Materials Prohibition) Order, 2018. Amendments concern: introduction or modification of the following definitions: microplastics, persons with disabilities, single use plastic, plastic food container, single use plastic bag; criteria for defining commercial quantity; limitation on the importation and distribution of plastic food containers and on cosmetic care or personal care products with microplastics added.
