Abstract
The Act provides rules for the supply of water by one or more statutory water undertakers. "Statutory water undertakers" is defined in section 2. The Minister may, by Order, provide for (a) the joint furnishing of water by statutory water undertakers; (b) constitution of joint committees of two or more statutory water undertakers; (c) the transfer of an undertaking from one statutory water undertaker to another one (sect. 3). Consolidated version of Law No. 17 of 1958 as amended by Act No. 10 of 1963 and authorized last by L.N. 87/1986.In the case of inconsistency of provision of this Act with provisions of any other Law in force, the provisions of this Act shall prevail.
