Agreement of cooperation between the Jordanian Government and the Japanese Government for nuclear energy peaceful uses.

This Agreement is between the Governments of Jordan and Japan for the cooperation of peaceful uses of nuclear energy. The Agreement states that the ways to cooperate would include an exchange of experts and information; the supply of one party to the other with nuclear materials and equipment. Other methods agreed upon by both parties: exploitation of uranium resources, radioactive waste treatment and disposal, undertake research and studies on the application of radioisotopes, environment monitoring . The Agreement shall remain in force for 20 years and can be extended automatically unless one of the parties wishes to terminate it .
