Directive No. Z/13 of 2003 regulating the exploitation and investment of private forests.

This Directive is composed of 23 articles. Article 1 deals with terms and definitions. Applications should be presented to the Agricultural Departments within the end of October of every year by the use of adopted forms (art. 3). Article 9 decrees the establishment of a committee composed of specialists entrusted to inspect on private forests. Articles 10-13 define species of trees to be protected and trees to be uprooted. Article 17 provides for the exploitation of private forests contiguous with Government forests. Article 18 pertains to the exploitation of private forests not included in projects of the Ministry of Agriculture. Article 20 deals with applications. Article 23 contains offences and penalties.
