Executive program for agricultural cooperation between the Ministry of Agriculture in Jordan and the Ministry of Agriculture and Agrarian Reform in Syria for the year 2010.

This Agreement is to strengthen and deepen the mutual agricultural cooperation between Jordan and Syria through the executive program agreed upon and signed in Amman in 2009. The program will focus on the following areas: joint research of yellow and white maize, exchange of experimental samples and varieties of field crops, Medicinal and aromatic plants and oils extraction; the use of micro-technologies in the diagnosis of plant diseases (viruses); irrigation system; sewage treatment . This program will also include sharing experiences in the fields of fish breeding, olive oil analysis, IPM , animal feed usage, along with scientific research and propagation of bees. The Cooperation is also involved in the field of animal health and animal production, and in he field of marketing and agricultural policies.
