Abstract
The aim of this Instruction is to regulate the management and circulation of used oil in order to protect the environment against pollution. This Instruction is composed of 16 articles. Articles 1 and 2 deal with terms and definitions. Article 3 specifies the scope of this Instruction. Articles 4-11 contain specific requirements and conditions for the following: (a) producers and transporters of oils; (b) gathering points and centres of oil; (c) oil reprocessing or treatment units; (d) burners of treated oils used as fuel; (e) sampling and analysing of oils; and (f) health and safety of workers and employees in the aforementioned activities. Articles 12-14 contain general provisions. Article 15 deals with offences and penalties.
