Abstract
This Regulation, consisting of 8 articles, applies to lands located outside officially approved zoning boundaries across the Kingdom, except for areas governed by special legislation. The Ministry of Local Administration prepares a land-use map as an integral part of the regulation, and the Council may amend land classifications based on field surveys or add or remove permitted land uses. Under Article 4, land is classified into the following zones (i) Primary Zones, including Agricultural Zones, Temperate Zones, Extensive Use Zones, and Private Forest Zones; (ii) Secondary Zones, including Rural-urban areas, Rocky areas, and Areas with special characteristics. The different land uses are classified under Article 5.
