Memorandum of Understanding for cooperation in the field of animal health, animal production and veterinary medicines between the Government of Jordan and the Government of Lebanon.

For closer economic ties and intensify the cooperation in the field of livestock in order to develop it and ensure food security, as well as for the need to coordinate legislations related to the prevention and control of epidemics and animal diseases ; and the development of animal production and exchange of veterinary drugs between the two countries; and to improve the quality of animal products intended for human consumption the two countries have made a memorandum of understanding. This Memorandum states that the management of veterinary quarantine in Jordan and Lebanon should follow common laws and systems . Article 2 states that the provisions of this Memorandum are only applicable on animals and animal products of national origin Lebanese or Jordanian. Article 4 prohibits the import of export of animal products unless it has been tested in the veterinary center on the borders . Ay exported animals should be accompanied with a health certificate issued by veterinary services .
