National Aid Fund Law No. 36 of 1986

This Law consisting of 15 articles aims at establishing the National Aid Fund, linked to the Ministry of Social Development, with the following main tasks (i) protect and care for people or families in need through recurring or emergency aid; (ii) offer opportunities for work or productive activities, or to improve existing ones, through professional or physical rehabilitation; (iii) recommend the Ministry of Health to issue health insurance cards to those who are unable to benefit from the Fund's services; (iv) provide vocational training to the beneficiaries of the fund at the designated authorities; (v) carry out scientific and field studies and research relating to the fund.
