Regulation No. (Z/9) of 2009 on the removal and transfer of fruitful olive trees of rare species or perennials.

This Regulation provides for the removal and transfer of olive trees of rare species or perennials. Article 3 states that the Ministry of Agriculture will work on receiving requests to remove and move olive trees . The committee within the ministry working on that shall consider applications to remove trees exposed for the establishment of residential houses owned land, construct or expand roads. Article 6 prohibits the export of olive trees of rare species in order to preserve the genetic origin of these trees under the approval of the competition from the Minister. Article 7 allows the import of fruit-bearing olive trees of rare species under prior permission from he ministry as it defines the conditions for the import of such trees.
