Abstract
This Regulation consisting of 9 articles concerns the fees that the Food and Drugs Administration collects about its food-related interventions. Particularly (1) fees from the food importer for (i) studying any request to import any product of special use food or food additive; (ii) inspecting any imported food consignment except for vacuum meat, fresh chilled meat, and fresh fish; (iii) supervising the re-equipment of any food consignment; (2) fees from the food exporter for (i) the inspection of the exported quantity, including the issuance of the health certificate if requested; (ii) granting a health certificate to a factory that produces food; (3) fees to conduct analysis and laboratory tests on imported and exported foodstuffs (art. 4 lists the tests in detail). Fees are also due for (i) obtaining a license to establish a food factory, or when adding a new production line; (ii) licensing and circulation of a food item in the food establishments.
