Resolution No. 4 of 1996 regulating the refrigerated storage of fresh vegetables and fruits, promulgated by paragraph A of article 7 and paragraph E of article 4 of Law No. 15 of 1987 on the Agricultural Marketing Organization.

This Resolution is composed of 16 articles. Article 3 defines requirements and conditions for storehouses which are: refrigeration unit; spare compressor and generator; automatic system for temperature and humidity control; airing system and thermometer. Storehouses must be in conformity with technical and hygienic requirements (art. 5). Storage requirements are given in article 9. Violation of this Resolution will be punished by article 14 of Law No. 15 of 1987 (art. 16).
