Abstract
This Risk Management Plan developed by the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation for the years 2017 - 2019 is a nationwide sectoral document aiming at contributing to the development of Jordanian society in light of its existing and expected needs to improve the citizens' standard of living, through participatory planning at the national and local levels, and coordinating and providing assistance within the framework of integrated cooperation. The main strategic objectives of the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation for the period are (i) sustaining financial and technical assistance; (ii) efficient management of external finance in accordance with development priorities; (iii) building and strengthening relationships with dealers; (iv) improving the living and economic conditions of citizens; (v) developing policies and the economic environment to contribute to achieving comprehensive and sustainable growth; (vi) coordinating between the various programs, projects, and initiatives within the framework of comprehensive development planning; (vii) consolidating the principles of good governance; (viii) strengthen internal and external communication; (viii) raising the efficiency of support services. The Ministry's objectives are in line with the 8 national goals as set out in the Jordan 2025 document.
