Abstract
This Law provides for basic principles on environmental conservation i.e. environmental pollution control and maintenance of the natural environment, encouragement of willingness for environmental conservation and environmental education. Provisions for the registration of human resource accreditation, etc. enterprises are specified in articles 11 to 14.

Entry into force notes
This Law enters into force on 1 October 2003. Articles 11 to 16 and 26 to 28 shall enter into force on 1 October 2004.
