Act on Promotion of Environmentally Friendly Use of Energy Sources and Effective Use of Fossil Energy Resources by Energy Supply Businesses (Act No. 72 of 2009).

The Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry is empowered to assess the environmental compatibility of energy sources used by specific energy supply businesses and can issue recommendations or orders for necessary measures if their practices are deemed insufficient.
