Agreed Minutes to the Agreement between Japan and Republic of Korea concerning the establishment of boundary in the Northern part of the continental shelf adjacent to the two countries.

The boundary line between that part of the Continental Shelf appertaining to Japan and that part appertaining to the Republic of Korea shall be formed by straight lines connecting the geographical co-ordinates set out in article 1 of the Agreement. These Minutes specify that those co-ordinates shall be based on Japanese Maritime Safety Agency Charts and prescribe, at the request of either Government, consultations regarding questions that may arise in connection with the exploration and exploitation of mineral resources, including matters regarding fisheries.
