Abstract
An Agreement to allow fishing by Japanese vessels in areas under Morocco's fisheries jurisdiction, being a 200 nautical mile zone. The Agreement provides also for the allocation of an appropriate part of the total allowable catch of in surplus of the harvesting capacity of Morocco to Japanese vessels (art. 2) and for various other rights and duties of the Parties in relation to management and conservation of Morocco fishing resources (arts. 4 and 7). Article 4 sets out duties of Japan with regard to activities by its vessels. Article 7 provide for annual consultations between the Parties.
