Abstract
This Cabinet Order is enacted to implement the Environmental Impact Assessment Act (Act No. 81 of 1997).
The Cabinet Order makes provisions for: requirements to be satisfied by Class-1 Projects, the benefits set forth in Article 2, paragraph (2), item (ii), (b) of the Act, period for submission of the Minister of the Environment's opinions on documents regarding primary environmental impact consideration, period for submission of opinions of the issuers of license on an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS), etc. Class 1 projects include, among other things, projects made under the River Law of 1964 and the Waterworks Law of 1957.
