Import Trade Control Order. (Cabinet Order No. 414 of December 29, 1949).

This Cabinet Order is enacted in accordance with the the Foreign Exchange and Foreign Trade Control Act (Act No.228 of 1949), for the purpose of implementing the same Act.
The Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry provides for and publicizes the items of goods subject to import quotas, the places of origin or places of shipment of goods requiring import approval, and other necessary matters concerning import of goods (art.3). A person who intends to import goods must, in any of the cases prescribed in Article 4 of the Cabinet Order, obtain approval from the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry.
