Abstract
This Notification establishes Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) for Agricultural Chemicals aiming to ensure the reliability of the study reports on agricultural chemicals submitted for the application for registration of agricultural chemicals in accordance with the provision of Paragraph 2 of Article 2, as well as Paragraph 6 of Article 15-2 and Paragraph 1 of Article 6-2 as well as Paragraph 6 of Article 15-2 of the Agricultural Chemicals Regulation Law (Law No. 82, 1948) through systematically ensuring the observance of the standards of the GLP for Agricultural Chemicals. The purpose of the Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) for Agricultural Chemicals is to ensure the reliability of the studies submitted to the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries in accordance with Paragraph 2 of Article 2 and paragraph 1 of Article 6-2 of the Agricultural Chemicals regulation Law (Law No. 82 of 1948). The GLP shall be applied to the following scope/area of the studies: 1. Toxicity/Mutagenicity; 2. Metabolism studies in animals and plants and behavior studies in soil and water; (3) Physical/chemical property; 4. Aquatic organism effects; 5. Residues.
