Abstract
The purpose of this Act is to provide for the organizations necessary for persons engaged in a small and medium-sized commercial business, industrial business, mining business, transport business, service business or any other business and other persons, such as workers, to engage in business in a cooperative manner.
The requirements which must be satisfied by a cooperative is prescribed in Article 5(1), including: (i)the purpose of the cooperative is mutual support among partner of the cooperative or partner of the federation; (ii) partner is able to join or withdraw from the cooperative voluntarily; (iii) partner has equal voting rights and rights to elect, irrespective of the number of units of contribution they have offered; etc. A cooperative must complete the registration of its formation at the location of its principal office (art.84). In the cases prescribed in Article 93 (1), registration at the location of a secondary office must be completed at the location of the secondary office.
