Ban on the importation of poultry (L.N. No. 6 of 2017).

This Notice of the Director of Veterinary Services, made under section 8 of the Animal Diseases Act prohibits the importation of live poultry, birds, captive wild birds, carcasses, meat, meat products, bone meal, feathers and other poultry products from Uganda as a precautionary measure against the risk of introduction and spread of notifiable fowl plague or avian influenza.
