Bomet County Climate Change Action Plan 2022-2026

This Action Plan represents the county's commitment to address climate actions and measures, and thus it provides mechanisms and measures to achieve low carbon climate resilient development, in a manner that prioritises adaptation, and recognises the essence of enhancing the climate resilience. This Action Plan concerns actions and measures in the following sectors: enhancement of institutional capacity of the county in climate change adaptation and mitigation; disaster risk management; food and nutrition security management; waste management; promotion of clean and renewable energy solutions; water security and management; ecosystem protection and natural resources conservation; human health and well-being.
