County Assembly Services Act, 2017 (No. 24 of 2017).

This Act provides with respect to the establishment of a Service ("County Assembly Service") in each of Counties. The Act shall, among other things, provide a framework for the establishment and effective operation of the Service with respect to each county assembly and provide for further functions and powers of the Board pursuant to section 12(7)(e) of the County Governments Act. The Service shall be an institution of exemplary administrative and technical competence. Employees of the Service shall, among other things, promote gender equality and respect for the rights and freedoms of others and preserve and protect the environment and national heritage.
