Energy (Energy Management) Regulations, Legal Notice no. 18 of 2025.

These Regulations, made under section 198 of the Energy Act, apply to owners of designated facilities; energy auditors; energy audit firms; energy managers; and energy service companies, and promote energy management in commercial, industrial and institutional facilities, with the aim of reducing energy consumption per unit of production. Matters covered by these Regulations include: Energy manager and energy management committee; energy management policy statement and energy audits; investment plan, implementation and reporting; measurement and verification of energy performance; remedial plan to meet the energy performance benchmarks; licensing of energy auditors and managers; compliance with environmental standards; health, environmental and safety obligations; powers of inspectors; offences and penalties.
