Exemption from Import Duty on Imported Raw Material Used in the Manufacture of Animal and Chicken Feed. Legal Notice no. 12 of 2022.

This Notice, made in pursuance to the section 114 (2) of the East African Community Customs Management Act, 2004, concerns an exempt from import duty in respect of imported raw materials used in the manufacture of animal and chicken feed. The attached schedule defines the amount of specified animal feeds raw materials that each company may import. Specific requirements concern the admitted quantity of additives, and the respect of Legislation in terms of genetically modified organisms.
