Abstract
These Rules prescribe fees for the conveyance of Government land. This may be done in the form of lease, temporary occupation licence, agreement, conveyance concession or separate deed. The Commissioner of Lands may remit any fee prescribed under these Rules.

Consolidated version of L.N.173/1976 as at 2012 and amended by L.N 306/1994.The Government Lands (Conveyancing Fees) Rules, 1988, are revoked.Subsidiary legislation of the Government Lands Act is now placed under the Land Registration Act, 2012, which repeals the Government Lands Act.
