Abstract
This Forest and Landscape monitoring Framework represents the Kenya’s commitment to implement restoration interventions concerning landscape and forest sectors, through monitoring, reporting and learning. The restoration process developed in this Framework consists of 30 indicators and 45 sub-indicators, aligned with national and international commitments, including: agroforestry, biodiversity conservation, land health, forest coverage. The Framework also identifies potential monitoring tools to measures the indicators, and outlines a roadmap for operationalising the outcomes, including data sharing, management, and reflective learning mechanisms.
