Abstract
This Act makes provision for the establishment of the Kenya Tourist Development Corporation and defines its powers, functions and internal organization. The Act consists of 16 sections and is completed by a Schedule.
The Corporation shall be charged with the duty of formulating and carrying out of projects for the development of the tourist industry of Kenya. The Corporation may establish or expand enterprises active in the field of tourism activities, including hunting and fishing safaris and the development, preservation or study of the wild and natural life, flora and vegetation of Kenya. The Corporation shall establish a reserve fund.
