Abstract
This Act establishes the Kilifi County Micro Finance Fund and the Kilifi County Micro Finance Fund Board and defines the purpose of the Fund and functions and powers the Board. The Fund shall provide seed capital for micro and small enterprises within Kilifi, for their business development and linkages to market and in accordance with article 207 (4) (b) of the Constitution and section 16 of the Public Finance Management Act. There shall be established a Micro Finance Fund Committee in every Sub-County. Those committees shall receive, verify, reject or approve applications for financing.
