Kisumu County Climate Change Fund Regulations, Legal Notice no. 2 of 2023.

These Regulations, made under Section 5 of the Kisumu County Climate Change Act, provide for: defining the procedures for management, operations and winding up of the Fund; planning climate change response interventions to be funded by the Fund; strengthening the role of communities, community structures and indigenous knowledge systems in the planning of climate change response interventions. The Regulations concern: capital and sources of the Fund; object and purposes of the Fund, including: implementation of climate change response projects proposed by the Committees, climate change research and knowledge management in the county, public education, sensitisation and awareness creation on climate change and its impacts, capacity building for stakeholders to effectively respond to climate change, monitoring and evaluation activities; expenditure of the Fund.
