Abstract
These Rules make provision for appeal to the High Court brought pursuant to the provisions of section 29 of the Land Acquisition Act. Part II provides for the institution and hearing of appeals. Part III concerns the serving of notices, fees, and application sphere of these Regulations: these Rules shall not apply to: (a) proceedings touching the legality of the taking of possession or of the acquisition of any property, interest or right within the meaning of section 75 (2) (a) of the Constitution; or (b) proceedings for the purpose of obtaining prompt payment of compensation under section 75 (2) (b) of the Constitution; or Limit of application of Rules.
