Mandera County Plant Health Act, no. 13 of 2014

This Act concerns protection measures for the prevention and control of pests affecting plants in the County of Mandera. The Act focuses on the following matters: establishment of the County Plant Health Board, and of the Plant Health inspector; transport restriction and quarantine measures; responsibility of growers for seed planted; penalty for wilful introduction of pests and diseases; control and destruction of any plant which has been declared to be a pest or weed; disinfection, treatment, destruction and disposal of any unhealthy plant, or of any plant appearing to be infected.
