Petroleum (Retail Dispensing Site Construction and Licensing) (no. 2) Regulations, 2025, Legal Notice no. 188 of 2025.

These Regulations, made under section 101 of the Petroleum Act, apply to the construction of petroleum retail dispensing sites and the licensing of petroleum retail businesses. The Regulations define the following relevant terms: adulterated petroleum; consumer; Energy and Petroleum Authority; environment liability policy; licensing authority; Kenya Standard; National Environment Management Authority; petroleum logistics facility. The Regulations concern the following matters: issuance of construction permits; obligations of a construction permit holder; licensing of petroleum retail businesses; reporting and investigation of accidents; inspection.
