Abstract
These Rules implement provisions of the Law of Succession Act and provide for matters of succession to and protection and administration of property of a deceased person. The Rules concerns, among other things: probate registries, application for grant of representation; caveats and objections to applications for the making or confirming of grants; renunciation of probate or of right to apply for administration; (litigious) legal proceedings; the making of grants; confirmation, sealing, rectification and revocation of grants; applications under special provisions of the Act; and the making and execution of wills.
