Public Finance Management (Wildlife Conservation Trust Fund) Regulations, Legal Notice no. 190 of 2025.

These Regulations, made under powers conferred by Section 24 (4) of the Public Finance Management Act, no. 18 of 2012, provide for detailing measures on the capital and on the management of the Wildlife Conservation Trust Fund, in compliance with the provisions of section 23(4) of the Wildlife Conservation and Management Act. The Regulations concern: initial capital of the Fund; apportionment of the Fund for the following purposes: wildlife conservation initiatives for terrestrial and marine national parks and national reserves, conservation of endangered and endemic species, education awareness, wildlife conservation and national wildlife research priorities; management of the Fund and specification of the functions of the Governing Board; mitigation of human wildlife conflict; disbursements to be made in accordance with funding agreements; financial provisions; investments of surplus funds; conflict resolution mechanism; measures for winding up of the Fund.
