Statute Law (Miscellaneous Amendments) Act, 2018 (No. 18 of 2018).

This Act makes miscellaneous amendments to various Acts, including the Law of Succession Act, the Kenya Ports Authority Act, the Environmental Management and Co-ordination Act, 1999, the Biosafety Act, the Land Act and the Wildlife Conservation and Management Act. The Environmental Management and Co-ordination Act, 1999 is amended to provide for the transfer of functions from the Department to the National Environmental Complaints Committee established under the Act. The Biosafety Act is amended in provisions concerning the Biosafety Board. The Land Act is amended in provisions concerning the alienation of public land, and transfer of functions from the Commission to the Federal or county government. The amendments of the Wildlife Conservation and Management Act concern Wildlife Conservation Committees, offences against CITES, payments into the Wildlife Conservation Trust Fund and trophies.
