Decision No. 25 of the Cabinet of Ministers validating the Procedure for calculating the amount of damage for land degradation.

This Procedure establishes the calculation of the amount of damage for land degradation in monetary form the amount of damage when removing and moving the fertile soil layer, contamination with chemical, biological, radioactive and other pollutants. It establishes calculation formula for damages to soil. Illegally exported soil is confiscated in favor of the land user, regardless of the form of ownership, which is determined by the authorized body for control and supervision of compliance with land and water legislation. Payment of penalties for an offense in case of damage to land does not relieve the offender from compensation for material damage resulting from damage to land.
