Decision No. 510 of the Cabinet of Ministers validating the Regulation on the State Agency for Control of the Production and Trade of Ethyl Alcohol and Alcohol Products under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic.

This Regulation defines the legal and organizational basis for the activities of the State Agency for Control of the Production and Trade of Ethyl Alcohol and Alcohol Products under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic. The Agency is a state executive body authorized to ensure a unified state policy in the field of production, import, storage and circulation of ethyl alcohol, alcoholic and alcohol-containing products, and to exercise state control in the field of production and circulation of ethyl alcohol, alcoholic and alcohol-containing products. The scope of the Agency is to ensure sustainable development of the production, import, storage and circulation of ethyl alcohol, alcoholic and alcohol-containing products. The Agency performs the following functions: (a) develops and implements a unified state policy in the field of production, import, storage and circulation of ethyl alcohol, alcoholic and alcohol-containing products, as well as in the field of regulation of production and circulation of bioethanol; (b) organizes and carries out state accounting and reporting in the field of production, turnover, import and export of ethyl alcohol, alcoholic and alcohol-containing products; (c) licensing; (d) import quota setting; (e) consumer protection; (f) organizes and exercises state control over the production, circulation of ethyl alcohol, alcoholic and alcohol-containing products, and over the production, circulation, quality and safety of bioethanol; and (g) ensures maintenance of the state register of bioethanol producers.
