Abstract
Product labelling shall be intended application/attachment of an identification device to the product and/or its packaging in accordance with the requirements of the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic and/or the legislation of the EAEU. Identification means shall be intended a marking code in machine-readable form, presented in the form of a bar code or other code, or recorded on a radio frequency tag, or presented using another means or automatic identification technology. State automated information system “Labelling of commodities” is a centralized information resource that ensures the collection, processing, storage of information, as well as the provision of information about manufactured commodities, imported commodities, commodities sold on the national territory, subject to mandatory labelling by means of identification, for further use for the purpose of control and monitoring of events carried out by an economic entity with a labelled product in the supply chain, on its way from the manufacturer/importer to the final consumer. The following commodities shall be subject to mandatory labelling: (a) strong alcoholic beverages; (b) liquors; (c) spirits; (d) low-alcohol drinks; and (e) wines.
