Decision No. 60 of the Cabinet of Ministers validating the Regulation on the procedure for conducting state control (supervision) over compliance with the requirements of technical regulations.

This Regulation on the procedure for state control (supervision) over compliance with the requirements of technical regulations establishes the legal and organizational basis for the activities of state control (supervision) over the compliance of products with the requirements of technical regulations in order to ensure the protection of the life and health of citizens, animals and plants, consumer protection and environmental protection. The objects of state control (supervision) over foodstuffs shall be foodstuffs that are subject to mandatory requirements of technical regulations for foodstuffs, produced in the Kyrgyz Republic or imported, in circulation on the market of the Kyrgyz Republic, including those subject to mandatory confirmation of conformity. State control (supervision) over foodstuffs is carried out: (a) in retail outlets, shops, markets, including warehouses; and (b) at fairs, exhibitions, performances, and other places where products are displayed. When conducting inspections at fairs, exhibitions, performances and/or other places where products are demonstrated, authorized bodies verify the compliance of products with the requirements of technical regulations. State control (supervision) over foodstuffs is carried out on the basis of an assessment of the risk of violation of the requirements established by technical regulations. The authorized body quarterly determines and compiles a list of products that pose the greatest danger to human life and health. The list is approved by order of the authorized body.
