Decree No. 9 of the Patent Office validating the Regulation on compilation, submittal and examination of application for the issuance of patent for selection achievement.

This Decree establishes the modalities of compilation, submittal and examination of application for the issuance of patent for selection achievement. Patent for selection achievements, ensuring legal protection thereof, shall be issued in compliance with the following criteria: (a) newness; (b) distinguishability; (c) homogeneity; and (d) stability. Application must contain: (a) request; and (b) description of variety. Application shall be filed in Kyrgyz or Russian languages. Description of variety shall contain specification of the origin thereof.
