Governmental Decree No. 235 validating the Strategy for introduction of international classification system of hazardousness and labelling of chemicals and Action Plan for application thereof for the period of 2015-2017.

This Governmental Decree establishes that introduction and application of international classification system of hazardousness and labelling of chemicals shall concern industry, agriculture, transport and consumer commodities. In particular, it regards manufacturing of food additives. All chemicals shall be subject to mandatory state registration with a view of regulation of hazardous substances and prevention of hazardous substances on human health and environment. The scope of the Strategy shall be raising the level of protection of human health and environment against turnover of chemicals.
