Governmental Decree No. 328 validating the Regulation on the procedure for providing information in the field of hydrometeorology and monitoring of environmental pollution by an authorized state body in the field of hydrometeorology.

This Regulation defines the procedure for the provision by the authorized state body in the field of hydrometeorology of hydrological, meteorological, agrometeorological information and performance of special-purpose works carried out on orders (requests) of state bodies. It classifies information related to environmental pollution as follows: (a) operational and prognostic; (b) reference information; (c) climatic information; (d) general information; and (e) specialized information. Information in the field of hydrometeorology and monitoring of environmental pollution of general use: weather forecast, emergency (storm) information, information on air pollution, surface water pollution, is provided to users (consumers) free of charge. The provision of information on request may be denied for the following reasons: (a) the requested information is contained in the parts of the documents that, in accordance with the legislation, are classified as information with limited access; and (b) the request was made in violation of the requirements provided for by the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "On access to information under the authority of state bodies and local self-government bodies of the Kyrgyz Republic".
