Governmental Decree No. 360 amending Governmental Decree No. 694 validating the Regulation on identification of livestock.

This Governmental Decree defines veterinary certificate as follows: “Veterinary certificate in accordance with the form № 1а - a document of the established sample issued by the authorized state body for veterinary medicine in the field of animal identification, containing information about the animal, ensuring its traceability in the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic, as well as data on the well-being of the area in relation to particularly dangerous and subject to imposition of quarantine animal diseases”. Identification means of livestock must comply with the requirements established by the International Committee for Animal Recording (ICAR). Information about the identified animal after the slaughtering thereof at the slaughterhouse, the death of the animal, as well as the occurrence of cases envisaged by this Regulation must be transmitted to the veterinarian who has the right to access the database of the Unified State Register of Identified Animals. The authorized state body for veterinary medicine in the field of animal identification or a veterinarian, within the framework of the delegated state authority to identify and register animals and farms, after assigning an individual number to an animal, shall enter information on the identified animal into the Unified State Register of Identified Animals. Data on the identified animals, their movement, and information on the owner of the animals, veterinary treatments and diagnostic studies must be entered into the Unified State Register of Identified Animals.
