Governmental Decree No. 401 validating the Regulation on State Committee on industry, energy and subsoil management.

This Governmental Decree establishes that State Committee on industry, energy and subsoil management shall be central executive body performing functions for implementation of state policy in the sphere of industry (except for food industry), fuel and energy complex, and subsoil management. State committee shall perform the following tasks: (a) improvement of policy efficiency for ensuring energy security; (b) setting up favorable conditions for the development of industry and fuel and energy complex; (c) stimulation of energy saving; (d) safe and secure energy supply to consumers; and (e) state regulation of subsoil management and exploration.
