Governmental Decree No. 74 validating the Regulation on use of revenues from compensation of losses of forestry production for protection, afforestation, increasing productivity of forests and reproduction of particularly valuable forest tree species in Kyrgyz Republic.

Regulation on use of revenues from compensation of losses of forestry production for protection, afforestation, increasing productivity of forests and reproduction of particularly valuable forest tree species in Kyrgyz Republic establishes the procedure for the use by the national executive authority in the field of environmental protection of revenues for protection, afforestation, increasing productivity of forests and reproduction of particularly valuable forest tree species. Reproduction of particularly valuable forest species shall be performed: (a) on land of the state forest fund - by the authorized state body; (b) outside the land of the state forest fund - by local self-government together with the authorized state body. Reproduction of particularly precious forest species shall not be applicable in case of removal thereof for the following purposes: (a) mitigation of the consequences of natural emergency situations and cataclysms; (b) control of mass outbreaks of pests and forest diseases; and (c) felling of artificial plantations of particularly precious tree species. Funds received as compensation of losses of forestry production shall be used for reproduction of particularly valuable forest tree species in order to prevent water and wind erosion of soil, to improve tree composition and planting of protective forests.
