Governmental Decree No. 92 validating the Regulation on protection of groundwater.

This Governmental Decree establishes the modalities of management and protection of groundwater. It shall be applicable to all natural and legal persons performing groundwater abstraction and well sinking. Groundwater protection shall include: (a) compliance with water legislation; (b) prevention and stopping of leakage of effluent and wastewater to groundwater level; (c) improvement of effluent wastewater treatment; (d) enforcement of requirements for groundwater exploration and abstraction; and (e) performance of other water protection arrangements.
